Welcome to Mas Nialgue - a hidden gem

In the foothills of the Pyrenees in France, in a sunny wooded valley, 1 kilometre down a cul de sac track leading to a few other houses, Mas Nialgue is a completely restored centuries old Catalan Mas set in 65 acres of mature woodland and meadows leading down to a small river.

Whilst offering complete tranquillity and surrounded by nature, the property is only 15 minutes drive from the popular towns of Ceret and Amelie Les Bains, with art galleries, spas, restaurants, supermarkets and all necessary facilities.

The house is perfectly situated to explore both the Pyrenees, with Cathar castles and medieval villages steeped in history, mountain walks, vineyards, markets, wild flowers, birds, cycling, mountain biking and the Mediterranean coast, with the beautiful and historic port of Collioure 45 minutes away, and the Spanish border 30 minutes drive. There are also lakes to swim in locally and stables offering horse rides nearby.

If you're looking for unique B&B near Ceret that offers complete peace and quiet, Mas Nialgue will be perfect for you.

With an amazing 300 days of sunshine every year, the Pyrenees Orientales region of Languedoc Roussillion is perfect for short or long breaks whatever the season.

Mas Nialgue is available to friends and personal contacts (not for the general public) for Bed and Breakfast for up to 8 guests, see availability calendar and contact Steve for details.
